Industrial staff who know the equipment
We work as an industrial staffing agency for warehouses, distribution depots, processing plants and engineering sites that need people who can work safely around machinery from their first shift. Industrial roles vary far more than job titles suggest. A forklift driver used to counterbalance trucks in a yard is not automatically ready for very narrow aisle work at height, and a machine operator from a print works may need time to adapt to a CNC cell.
So we start with the equipment and the process. We ask which trucks and machines are in use, what the shift rotation looks like, whether the work is ambient, chilled or frozen, and what your site induction covers. Candidates are then assessed against that, with certificates checked and, where you want one, a practical assessment arranged before they start. For maintenance roles we look at the disciplines you need, such as electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled, and the control systems on site.
Most of our industrial clients run continental shifts, three-shift rotations or fixed nights. We recruit people who are settled on those patterns, and we stay in touch after placement to catch problems with travel, hours or training before they turn into absence. Where you need a regular team on weekly bookings, we keep the same workers on your site wherever we can, so your supervisors are not re-inducting new faces every Monday.

What sets our industrial staffing apart
Matched to your trucks and machines
We ask which equipment is in use and match candidates with real experience on it, rather than sending anyone with a general licence or a similar job title.
Certificates checked, not assumed
Forklift and plant certificates are checked for training body, truck category and date, and we flag when refresher training is likely to be due.
Settled on your shift pattern
We recruit people who already work continental, rotating or night shifts, which cuts early drop-out and the cost of constantly inducting replacements.
Consistent faces on site
For regular bookings we keep the same workers on your site wherever possible, building a dependable team that knows your processes and safety rules.
Safety-critical checks for industrial roles
Industrial sites carry real risk, so our checks focus on what affects safety. We confirm right to work for every worker, and for lift truck roles we check the certificate, the truck types covered and whether training was delivered under an accrediting body such as RTITB or ITSSAR. Your site should still give each operator familiarisation and written authorisation on your own equipment. We also share relevant work history so you can plan inductions properly.
- Right to work checks for every worker

- Electrical and mechanical qualifications verified
- Safety footwear and PPE requirements confirmed
- Site induction completion recorded
Who uses our industrial staffing

Frequently asked questions
Can you supply forklift drivers at short notice?
We can often supply counterbalance and reach truck drivers quickly, same day where possible, because we keep checked drivers registered with us. Specialist trucks such as VNA or side loaders are harder to cover at short notice. Tell us the truck type and shift and we will be honest about what we can do.
Do you check forklift licences?
Yes. We check the certificate, the truck categories covered, the training provider and whether the training was accredited by a body such as RTITB or ITSSAR. We also ask about recent hours on each truck type. As the operator, you should still give each driver site-specific familiarisation and written authorisation before they use your equipment.
Who is responsible for health and safety on site?
Health and safety is shared. You control the site, the equipment and the risk assessments, so you are responsible for inductions, safe systems of work and supervision. We are responsible for supplying workers with the qualifications and experience we have told you about, and for passing on any hazard information you give us.
Can you supply maintenance engineers on a contract basis?
Yes. We supply electrical, mechanical and multi-skilled maintenance engineers for shift cover, breakdown support, planned shutdowns and longer contracts. Let us know the machinery, control systems and shift pattern involved. Skilled maintenance roles can take longer to fill than operative roles, so early notice helps us find the right person.
How do your charge rates work for nights and weekends?
Charge rates are agreed per role, with separate rates for nights, weekends and bank holidays where those shifts carry higher pay for the worker. Overtime rates are agreed in advance too. Everything is set out in a rate card before the first booking, so the invoice matches what you expected.
